Actually to Neutron, the in-place upgrade for Windows 7 is very efficient compared to the XP or Vista in-place upgrade.

i should upgrade, but I'll only need the computer to go on the internet and check a few emails, and then facebook and then this forum and thats all i need to do.

So basically its not about the Operating system, its about what you need to do on there.

My older brother claims he tested it at a friends house and said it was better than Windows Vista.

MY speed on the computer is the average speed (which is around 3000 kbps i think it is??) but I'd like one much faster, until the speed test hits red
